About
Ricky Robinson, founder of Carpentry by Design LLC, was raised in a construction family in High Rolls, New Mexico. From an early age, Ricky helped his father in building and remodeling homes, and when he was in his teens, was apprenticing on every aspect of the work. In those years, Ricky learned all parts of the building trade. He also learned how to 'build to last', doing his craft the best way so generations would enjoy it long after he had built it.
In 2010, he started workin on his own and successfully built his business. In 2012, he moved to Lynchburg and in 2013, began Carpentry by Design. The best reputation is word of mouth, and Carpentry by Design continues to grow and flourish, thanks to our customers who spread our name.
